Error description

  • The text "Web server gateway" shown in the following diagram,
should be corrected to "Web server gateway with dispatcher" as
same as ReportNet documentation.

Load Balancing Without an External Mechanism
(Diagram appears on page 77)

The current diagram describes that gateway server with no
dispatcher can perform load balancing among multiple
dispatchers, but it is not true.

NOTE: We can specify multiple dispatchers URIs from Cognos
Configuration in Congos 8 Gateway server and it is true it is an
enhanced functionality comparing to ReportNet, but it should NOT
mean gateway component can perform load balancing.
