PM11470: INCORRECT DATA RESULTS WHEN PROCESSING CAST FUNCTION IN A FILTER LOCALLY

Error description

• Report contains a filter expression like the following which is
  performing a cast of a date time field from MS SQL Server to a
  date locally.
  (Cast ([PERIOD_DT], date) between cast ('2008-01-01', date) and
  cast ('2008-12-01', date).
  There is a record in the database with the value 2008-01-01 12
  AM that does not get returned when this filtered is applied to
  the result set.
  

Local fix

• Use a filter with datetime data types only such as [PERIOD_DT]
  between '2008-01-01
  00:00:00.000' and '2008-12-01 00:00:00.000'
  Use datetime prompt.
