PM10281: UNABLE TO CHOOSE "USE NUMBER OF ITEMS" IN PZN AUTHORING

Error description

• Detailed Action Taken/Reproduction Scenario:
  1. Install Portal 6101 with non-root user, upgrade to
  6102.
          2. Configure DB2 V9.5 fixpack 3, Configure Webserver IHS
  7005
          3. Enable security to MS ADAM 2008, Add
  multi-realm:realm01?realm02?realm03
          4. Upgrade to Portal 6103 successfully
          5. Create a rule In PZN portlet.
             Select "wcpCatsMV" as your Resource Collection and
  "Offspring_int" as your attribute. Use "is" as your operator.
             In the value section, input a number such as 3.
          6. Save rule and then re-edit.
          7. Changing the value,Select link ">" to choose"Use
  number of items in list".
  
  Get EJPVP99999E: null message in ui and NullPointerException in
  trace.
  

Local fix

• This does not happen on new rules, so customer could recreate
  rule.
  

Problem summary

• When editing existing rule and using "Use number of items in
  list", ui is showing EJPVP99999E: null
  

Problem conclusion

• Changed code to process number value instead of list and return
  expected results in UI
