Problem summary
Page Template Builder in Page designer builds a referenceMap or index everytime it runs. It maintains information about linkage between all the Static Page Templates and instance pages using those. Even though this information is regenerated everytime, it is being preserved in TemplateNature. This information takes up a lot of memory as noticed in snapshot @ http://snappy.watson.ibm.com/yeti/output/yeti-phpe0FsA9/out0 /.
Problem conclusion
Page Template builder doesnt release memory at the end of the build, which it will in 7.5.5.1 after the fix.
