  RPT HTTP recorders prior to RPT 8.2 fail to return the
  "extra bytes" of data provided by some proxies during NTLM
  authentication which leaves the client waiting for the full
  response.  This leads to a time-out and a failed connection.
  

Problem conclusion

• The RPT 8.2 HTTP recorder correctly handles
  NTLM-authenticated proxy servers with SSL sites.
