Problem summary


    

  • Rational Application Developer may crash if excessive output
is written to the Console.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fixed via Eclipse bugzilla 259107. The fix is
that the UI thread never waits and holds locks temporarily
while it flushes
buffers.  This means that it is free to return and process
sync/asyncExec()'s
from other threads.
