  • Customer runs DFH$UMOD and DFH$ULPA and adds DFHLETRU to the
LPA. DFHLETRU is also a member of the Nucleus program and
receives error messsage DFHSI1596.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CICS cannot locate DFHLETRU in the      *
*                      LPA.                                    *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Using DFH$UMOD and DFH$ULPA to move DFHLETRU into the LPA and
specifying the USELPACOPY=YES option for DFHLETRU has caused
CICS to be unable to locate DFHLETRU during startup and has
caused CICS to issue the following message:
DFHSI1596 Nucleus module DFHLETRU cannot be located.

DFHLETRU is defined in the nucleus table and should therefore
not be in DFH$UMOD or DFH$ULPA.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DFHLETRU has been removed from DFH$UMOD and DFH$ULPA so that it
is not loaded into the LPA.

    



Temporary fix


    

  • FIX TOO LARGE FOR RETAIN, THE FIX MAY BE AVAILABLE IN DLL
