PM08425: SAVING A REPORT THAT CONTAINS [ / ; IN REPORT NAME RETURNS ERROR CM-REQ-4192

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A new report can be saved with [], /, ; in the report from
  within Report Studio or within Cognos Connection.
  If something is changed in the report and the report is saved
  from within Report Studio the following error message is
  returned:
  
  CM-REQ-4192 The property "searchPath" (for an object of class
  "Report") is incorrect.
  
  CM-REQ-4158 The search path "..." is invalid.
  CM-REQ-4098 The syntax of the search path is incorrect. The
  search path predicate is invalid because the closing square
  bracket (]) character is missing.
  

Local fix

• Instead of using Save use Save as from within Report Studio,
  and overwrite the existing report.
