Error description
Rational Developer for System z 7.6.0.1: During a copybook import for Show Dependencies the import completes successfully, but in the middle an error is produced: While creating EFS-Resources, an internal error occurred due to a java exception, java.util.ConcurrentModificationException.
Local fix
Problem summary
The concurrency modification exception occurred when a member was being added to the MVS subproject, and the subproject's member list was accessed from EFS resource creation job concurrently from the other thread.
Problem conclusion
To prevent the error, "synchronized" statements were added. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V7.6.1 Refresh Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
