Error description
After upgrade from Cognos 8.2 to Cognos 8.4.1, the customer is experiencing, that opening a analysis does takes extremely long, in comparism to Cognos 8.2. The analysis contains a crosstab with several context filters. The UDA traces showed that in front of all the queries that were send to the database in C8.2, there is an additional query in 8.4.1 which requests all data and is not limited by the where clauses.
