PM06194: SECONDARY COGNOS VIEWER WINDOW DOES NOT CLOSE ON 8.4 FP2

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Behavior of Cognos Viewer window has changed from 8.4 FP1 to 8.4
  FP2 when running report as Excel option while viewing report as
  HTML.
  
  Secondary browser window for 'Cognos Viewer' would close when in
  8.4 FP1, but remains open in 8.4 FP2.
  
  Client requires the same behavior in FP2 as previous versions as
  they do not want the secondary window left open after running a
  report in Excel.
