Error description

  • My customer hit the known issue logged as COGCQ00198495 and they
    applied Hotsite build 8.4.28.1114. However, blank window of
    Cognos Viewer has come to appear when viewing QS report in Excel
    after that. See the attached testcase for more detail.

    (Workaround)
    Close the blank window manually.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem does not occur in latest Query Studio build. Recommend u
    pgrading.
