Error description

  • Rational Business Developer V7.5.1.4:

The value in a form field array is not displayed on a form when
vglib.copyBytes is used to copy a value to it running generated
COBOL programs.

This works as expected in the EGL debugger.

This also works if a MOVE statement is used instead of the
copyBytes.

Local fix

  • A testfix is available from support.

Problem summary

  • Six system functions were missing the check to set an array
type form field's flag to indicate that the variable has
changed.

Problem conclusion

  • Software updated.
