  • Environment:
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP SP2
  - Product name: Rational Software Architect

Description of problem:
Enterprise Application 5.0 deployment descriptors do not have ID
s set for modules

Step to reproduce:
1. Create Web/Ejb/Appclient project
2. Create EAR  5.0 project with application.xml
3. In the application.xml  switch to Design tab ans use Add Modu
le and choose the  module project you created in step 1.
The module that gets added does not have an ID set- they should
look like:
?module id='WebModule_1234537048218'?

Workaround:
Add the IDs manually

Problem summary


    

  • The problem of EAR 5.0 projects not setting the id field in
the application.xml when adding child modules has been
fixed.
