PM02215: COMPLEX PARENT CALCULATION DOES NOT RETURN VALUE IN COGNOS 8.4 AFTER REPORT WAS UPGRADED FROM 8.3

Error description

• MDX calculation "parent" does not return value in Cognos 8.4
  after report was upgraded from 8.3. Cognos Viewer (Report
  Studio) instead display an empty column header when the report
  is run in any format (HTML, PDF, Excel). The data item which is
  the parameter for the "parent" calculation is itself a complex
  calculation which uses MDX functions "item", "filter", "caption"
  as well as a prompt parameter
