Description of problem:

Users experience a significant performance difference when compa
red EGLSDK generation with RBD generation.

This is creating a problem for users when they need to generate
hundreds of programs through EGLSDK.

  • Customer was experiencing slow performance in EGLSDK

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The code was profiled and a hotspot was identified
(file.exists() was being called tremendous amount of  time).
Caching was put in place to help with this problem.
