PM00897: INTERMITTENTLY, USERS GET PAGE INITIALIZATION ERROR WHEN TRYING TO OPEN CONTRIBUTOR APPLICATION ON THE WEB.

APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible.

Error description

• With 9.4, scrolling in any direction, in Excel 2007 on a Vista
  PC while connected to a TM1 server results in brief stops every
  few
  seconds.
  If you hold the cursor down it happens every 10 cells or so, if
  you are just moving around it's every 3 cells or so.
  It only happens when you're connected to a server and it doesn't
  have to be a TM1 model open, just a blank sheet exhibits the
  problem. This is an issue under Vista and on 9.4.1 MR1, and FP1
  and FP2.
  
  Customer has installed 9.4.1 MR1 FP2 HF16 on a Windows XP /
  Office 2003 PC and this seems to work ok. Performance is close
  to / as good as
  it was on 9.1.3
           Customer has tested this on both desktop and laptop
  clients,
  running Vista, with the issue occuring in both cases.
  To ensure this not an issue with the customer's
  build/implementation of Vista, this has been tested on a
  standard version of Vista - with the result, this issue still
  occurs.
