PK99791: DOORS QC INTEGRATION LOCKS THE MODULE OPEN IN EXCLUSIVE MODE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DOORS QC Integration locks the module open in exclusive mode for
  synchronization and do not release it.
  
  If a DOORS module that has been used in a TEST entity dataset is
  then used in a REQ entity dataset, the following error occurs
  when synching:
  Failed to synchronize
  
  
  Error from DOORS subsystem (The module entity type does not
  match that of the dataset.)
  
  After this occurs a lock can remain on the module in DOORS.
  User has to manually remove this lock via Manage Locks.

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed so that the synch module is closed
  if there is an error reported during the synch process. Any
  changes are discarded.
