PK99241: Auto rollback when WAS http persistence session is on in RBD V7.1.0.4

Error description

• This defect is raised from ER: RATLC01487901.
  
  Client is using RBD V7.1.0.4 and WAS WAS ND V6.1.0.19 on AIX, th
  ey found when their WAS http persistence session is turn on, the
  ir EGL/Java application will get rollback exception automaticlly
  , although they have committed connection explicitly in EGL appl
  ication.
  
  development team has confirmed this is a defect in product in ER
  : RATLC01487901, and provided a testfix for client, which was te
  sted and accepted by client, so I raised this defect.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When WAS Distribited environment settings are set to
  "Database", the database work used by JSF Handlers may be
  rolled back.  All changes will be lost.
  

Problem conclusion

• When WAS Distribited environment settings are set to
  "Database", set the system property
  com.ibm.egl.noRollbackOnSerialize to true.
  
  To set the system property in WAS 6.1, start the
  administrative console.  Click Servers ? Application servers
  ? [server_name] ? Java and process management ? Process
  definition ? Java virtual machine ? Custom properties ? New.
   Name the new property com.ibm.egl.noRollbackOnSerialize,
  and enter true for the value.  The change will take effect
  after WAS is restarted.
