APAR status

Error description

  • When an overflow occurs when the ROUND function is used and the
    
    powerof10 is a negative value.    When a positive number is used
     for the
    powerof10, then it continues as expected. When a negative number
     is
    used for the powerof10, then it fails with a runtime error.   Th
    e
    overflow is due to the value being larger than 3 digits on the
    
    significant digits.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The round function was erroneously calling the
    EZE-HANDLE-RETURN-STATUS section of code.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Software updated. Fixtest available.
