Error description

  • Rational Application Developer v7.0.0.9
J2C Ant Task Build failure occurs when a data binder file to be

    ows as successful as follows:
    '..?[adapter:discover] Discovery ...failed BUILD SUCCESSFUL?..'

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When the Data binding files are write protected, when we
execute the ant script to generate the data binding files,
the actual ant task fails but the overall ANT SCRIPT staus
reports BUILD SUCESSS instead of BUILD FAILED.

Problem conclusion

  • The J2C data bindining ant script should report BUILD
    FAILED.
