PK94004: CONTRIBUTOR RICH CLIENT VALIDATION ERROR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using the Rich Client where a validation rule is created
  against a hidden cube.
  
  When there is a validation rule created on a dummy cube on a
  model which should restrict the save option if the user enters
  an incorrect value. The cube is then hidden as the users dont
  need to see it. When the user breaks the validation condition
  and then press the validate button the following error appears.
  
  Internal Application Problem  java.lang.NullPointerException
  
  The error message closes on pressing the OK button. If the user
  then presses the save button then a message appears saying that
  validation restrictions are in place and prevents saving. This
  is as expected.
  
  No Planningerrorlog.csv files are created when the issue
  happens.
  This issue was found on 8.4.2122 but also exists on 8.4.2531
  (FP1)
  This issue does not happen on the Classic client.
