• Environment:
  - Microsoft Windows XP SP1/2
   - IBM Rational Software Architect for Websphere 7.5.3
  
  Reproducible Y/N: Y
  
  Description of problem:
  The Select Type Dialog Search lists RoseJavaDataTypes, XSDDataTy
  pes
  and UPIAModelLibrary types although no model libraries are used
  and
  the referenced libraries option is removed from the search scope
  .
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Create a UML Project
  2. Create a Simplified blank UML Model choosing the template the
   General folder
  3. Add to the model a new class 'Test'
  4. Add to the class 'Test' the attribute 'TestAtt'.
  5. Click on the 'Select type' button in the property view -? Gen
  eral tab
  6. In the Search dialog window, remove the 'Referenced libraries
  ' from the search scope options
  and type 'a'
  Expected Result:
  Nothing listed a there is no element starting 'a'
  Actual Result:
   RoseJavaDataTypes
   XSDDataTypes
   UPIAModelLibrary types are listed.
  
  Workaround:
  None
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The result of the search Type dialog lists too many types
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in release RSx 7.5.5.
  
  "Model libraries" option in the Search dialog box is
  confusing. Added "UML Model libraries" option there which
  now does what User expects.
