PK90322: RE-RUN OF PREVIOUSLY FAILED CROSSTAB REPORT LEADS TO WRONG RESULT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrading from 8.2 RTM to 8.4 RTM a crosstab report fails
  with  PDS-PPE-0104 A record was rejected. An arithmetic overflow
  occurred.  that was running without issues in 8.2 RTM against
  the same database. Rerunning the report will return the report,
  however the report result is not matching the expected data. It
  seems that there is data leftover in the cache that will be
  reused and leading to wrong figures!
  
  Decimal precision for crosstabs was in 8.2 RTM default (7), so
  is it in 8.4 RTM (7).
