PK89604: FILTERING ACCESS DATE FIELDS USING DATE FUNCTIONS IS NOT CONSISTENT

Error description

• Filtering date field from Access data source is not consistent.
  
  This works:
  [Date] = current_date
  
  This does not work:
  [Date] = _first_of_month(current_date)
  
  Error is returned: UDA-SQL-0460 A general exception has occurred
  during local processing.
  UDA-EE-0093 The operation "_first_of_month" is invalid for the
  data type "varchar".
  
  From Trakker bug 528680.1 there is fix comment that states:
  Access datetime function "curdate" and "curtime" return varchar
  rather than datetime. This is also stated in the cogdmod.ini
  file.
  
  It seems that this is the case:
  The Access function curdate() which returns varchar, has been
  mapped to the common function current_date - this probably
  should not be the case for Access.
  If Access is returning curdate() as varchar, we should cast it
  internally to date for use for the current_date common function.
  curdate() would remain the same as in Access.
  BTW current_timestamp works but requires local processing.
  
  Also the latter function worked in 8.2 (the first fails in 8.2,
  though).
