Error description

  • User is getting JVM Out of heap storgae error when trying to gen
erate a particular program. Other programs do not have the probl
em.

This only happens with EGLSDK

The JVM max size has been set to 1600M.

In the lab the smae program could be generated successfully with
 1500M (but not with less).

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Out of memory was caused by the contents of the .egl files
being held during compilation step (for error printing
purposes).

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • I have changed the code to only open/read the source file if
an error is found.
