    Steps to reproduce
    1) Having an object and an attibute with RiC
    2) The attribute is declared as 'Char *' in the Use existing
    type field.
    3) Initial visibility is set as private.
    4) Some value is set for the attribute in the field 'Value'.
    5) Having changed the visibility for private to public, the
    value of attribute disappears.
