PK88509: LINE FEED DOES NOT WORK WITHIN EXCEL OUTPUT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CSV output is not comma delimited with CRLF
  When CSV report is run, the output it tab delimited with no
  carriage returns or line feed.
  Requirement: CSV output to be comma delimited with carriage
  returns and line feeds.
  
  Referenced Admin and Securty guide (pg. 527) to append the
  following parameters:
  RSVP.CSV.DELIMITER - set to ','
  RSVP.CSV.TERMINATOR - set to 'CRLF'
  After restarting services, these changes have had no impact and
  tab delimiter defect still persists.
  

Local fix

• The test case works fine with  following steps:
  1. set advanced properties as discribed.
  2. run report in CSV, when pop up asking save or open report,
  select save report, change extention to .CSV and save the
  report output.
  3. open .CSV file in word pad. it is  , delimited.
