Error description

• Using Rational Application Developer V7.0.0.7
  Description of problem:
  When executing a SQL script which has not been saved via Run SQL
  , data loss might occur
  
  Step to reproduce:
  1) Create a Data development project in RAD 7.0.0.7 which can sh
  ow to any DB
  2) In view Data Project Explorer, create a new SQL script. Selec
  t the created project. Choose a name like script.sql, a statemen
  t template DELETE FROM and leave default SQL Builder
  3) Replace in script.sql DELETE FROM with SELECT FROM
  4) Do not save the file
  5) Call in context menu of script.sql in Data Project Explorer R
  un SQL
  Resultat:
  
  View Data Output shows that DELETE FROM was executed. No warning
   message occurred.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When the user types in a different statement (supported)
  type in the SQL builder and run the SQL without saving the
  script, the original SQL selected (in the SQL builder) is
  executed and not the SQL newly written.
  

Problem conclusion

• This is solved by dynamically changing the GUI of SQL
  builder to adapt to the statement type written in the SQL
  builder.
  Fixed in Rational Application Developer V7.5.4
