Error description

  • 224394
If a Gateway types file is not loaded along with the rest of the
Gateway project (e.g. it has been moved / deleted) Gateway will
not be able to make use of this type. But if this types file is
later restored either during the session, or between subsequent
Gateway sessions, it will not be available for use until further
action is taken.

Local fix

  • Close Rhapsody and Gateway
Delete the project .log and .rqtfimage files from the _rpy
directory.
Restart Rhapsody and Gateway
The types file should now load correctly.

Problem summary

  • APAR PK86094 - Gateway does not use types file if it is
missing and then restored.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in 7.5.2
