Error description

• Visio 2002 OLE objects cannot be activated upon double-clicking
  or trying to open them. Sometimes this works randomly and the
  object is opened for editing.
  

Local fix

• Possible Workaround:
  
  Deleting the files VISIO.BIN and ShapeGallery.mdb (the Visio
  cache I think) will allow for activation once but not
  thereafter. So a potential workaround is deleting these files
  every time.

  object!" or "static metafile".
  

Problem conclusion

• DOORS has upgraded the version of edit control used to
  handle editing within DOORS, which includes OLE handling,
  which has resolved this issue.
