PK83046: ClearCase integration: EJB Client Project cannot be removed from the deployment descriptor

Error description

• UsingRational Software Architect 7.5.1 and Rtional ClearCase Rem
  oteClient 7.1, if an EJB project and its client project are shar
  ed under a CCRC view,
  it is impossible to complete the remove of the EJB Client Jar fr
  om the
  deployment descriptor.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Create an EJB Project called 'RemoveEJBClientJar'
     Choose EJB version 2.1
     Chose Target Runtime 6.1
     Choose Default EJB Client
  2. Create a session bean called SessionBean1
     and click finish.
  3. Share the EJB Project choosing the CCRC view
  4. Choose default option for adding to SourceControl
  in particular do not check the option to check out artifact afte
  r adding to source control
  5. Share the EJB Client project choosing the same view and same
  options
  6. Share the EAR project choosing the same view and same options
  7. Open the Deployment descriptor of the EJB Project (ejb-jar.xm
  l)
  8. Go to Overview tab and click on the button called
  'Remove' in the EJB Client Jar section
  9. Check out the ejb-jar.xml file when prompted
  10. Check out the ibm-ejb-jar-bnd.xmi file when prompted
  Result:
  You get message saying 'Are you sure you want to combine the con
  tents
  of the EJB client Jar project with the EJB JAR project, replace
  all references and delete the EJB client JAR project?'
  - Click 'Yes'
  You are then asked if you want to refresh the ejb project
  - Click Yes
  You are then asked if you want to refresh the ejb client project
  - Click Yes
  - No error message is shown to the user
  - the ejb client project remains
  
  In the error log you get an entry saying:

  !MESSAGE Problems encountered while deleting resources.
