remains RAD locks up and goes into Not Responding State

Problem summary


    

  • When removing the start tag, the model tries to re associate
the end tag with another start tag by the same name.  For
these files, the start tag was found in a read-only region.
Because of this pairing, a lot of the document would mark
tags as read-only, which caused a lot of nodes to be
highlighted. These weren't done en masse, which caused the
slowdown.
