  • In the EGL COBOL runtime, when using the strlib.indexOf function
    in a Rational Business Developer v7.1.0.2 EGL program with a un
    icode variable, the returned index value may be incorrect.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The runtime logic didn't have support for unicode. This
    function is now generated inline for all data types.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Software updated in 7103 and 7512
