APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Create a synchronous message. From the properties view, change t
he type to asynchronous.  In the PE, the reply message has been
removed and 1 of the 4 message occurrence specifications.

The converted asynchronous message has 3 message occurrence spec
ifications, a behavior execution specification and no execution
occurrence specification.  It should have 2 message occurrences
specifications and 1 execution occurrence specification and 1 be
havior execution specification.

Note: if the reply part of synchronous message is deleted, there
 are 3 message occurrence specifications and a behavior specific
ation.

Problem summary


    

  • properties view for message set type works incorrectly.

Message type change command doesn't work properly. After
changing message type (such as from synchronous call to
aysnchronous call), the result model is no longer valid.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fixed in release RSx 752.
