Error description

  • Customer sees a difference in behavior between EGL v6 and EGL v7
    when converting blanks to zeros.  EGL v6 skipped special proces
    sing when the target is of type text.  EGL v7 does not skip the
    special processing.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The spacesZero option had 2 problems: it was altering the
    source instead of using a temporary variable and altering
    that, and was being used when the target was a text type.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Software updated. Fixtest available.
