Error description

  • Description:
In the 7.5.1 version, it is impossible to display multiline comm
ents. It used to be possible both with 7.0.0.x (no rich text) an
d 7.0.x (rich text).

Steps to reproduce:
- Create a comment or a note on a diagram.
- Type in a multiline text
- validate: the comment is displayed in a single line.

Workaround:
Disable rich text on the model...

Problem summary


    

  • Multiline comments are displayed as single line.

The notes and comments displayed on diagrams are only
capable of rendering plaintext. In order to accommodate rich
text comments and notes we must provide a conversion
mechanism. Previous rich-text integration was able to do
some basic plaintext conversion but this capability was lost
when the EPF editor was integrated.

    



Problem conclusion
