Error description

• EJB deployment fails to during import EAR stage with WebSphere A
  pplication Server V7 with the Error 'DeployEJBTask I  ADMA0158I:
   [EJBDeploy] Error importing: Colliding project name '.
  It try to import the ejb jars in folders of the ear and cause th
  is error.

Problem conclusion

• In pre JavaEE 5  EAR's, the import should be driven by the
  modules in the deployment descriptor and only those modules need
  be imported as projects, other jars in the EAR should be
  imported as util jars.
  
  Fixed in Rational Application Developer V7.5.2
