Error description

  • Floating license'ibmrsase' is not released after a period of tim
e RSASE is not used
The customer uses the TIMEOUT statement in de options file for t
he flexlm server for floating licenses.

The customer has tried to set the TIMEOUT to 3600 seconds and th
en to 7200 seconds. Both times the licenses were not released an
d the customer had to use lmremove to force release of the licen
ses.

The license is not released after TIMEOUT period for all users.
Windows XP and Linux Redhat 5.2 on Client machines
Linux Redhat 5.2, 64 bit on License Server.
