APAR status

Error description

  • Using Rational Application Developer V7.5 when trying to run Web
    sphere administrative script, add program argument: $file_prompt
     variable, the argument is ignored (this works fine if using VM
    arguments, does not work if using program arguments)
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by the launch configuration failed to
    check the file prompt argument in the launch configuration.
    The fix is to use the generic eclipse support to do the file
    prompt during the launch.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The problem is fixed to respect the file prompt argument.
    
    Fix delivered in Rational Application Developer V7.5.2
