APAR status

Error description

• When we import an Rational Application Developer (RAD) V6 Projec
  t interchange file into RAD V7, J2C annotation processor fails t
  o properly process annotation values which span multiple lines.
  During import, an exception will be throw showing Data Binding w
  izard exceptions .
  Example:
   * @type-descriptor.level88 name='valid__fee__type' value='H5MAS
  000,
   *                          H5MAH000, H5MVS000'
  
  the value attribute is seen by the processor as:
    'H5MAS000,\r\n*                          H5MAH000, H5MVS000'
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• J2C annotation processor fails to properly process
  annotation values which span multiple lines. During import,
  an exception will be throw showing Data Binding wizard
  exceptions.
  
  The problems is caused by garbage characters into the
  multi-lines annotation values.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix delivered in Rational Application Developer V7.5
