APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Application Server Toolkit server tooling fails to recognize
  modification of JAX-WS client bindings and hence initiate a
  publish.  The EAR project is not being refreshed when the client
  bindings are altered, i.e. such as addition of a policy set.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Modifications to the bindings.xml       *

  After making modifications to the underlying bindings.xml file
  by either attaching a new policy set or modifying an existing
  attachment a publish does not occur meaning that the new
  bindings.xml file is never updated in the WebSphere
  Application Server.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Enterprise Application project containing the bindings.xml
  file will be refreshed after modifying the bindings.xml file to
  ensure that the modification causes the server tooling to
  trigger a publish action.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  the WebSphere Application Server Toolkit fixpack 6.1.1.8 and
  Rational Application Developer fixpack 7.0.0.8.  Please refer
