Error description

• Using Rational Software Architect V7.0.0.5
  Seeing a path discrepancy produced by the deployment descriptor
  wizard for adding a service reference(web service) where after a
  dding the service reference the entry in the web.xml points to a
   differing path from the entry shown in the Add a existing webse
  rvice wizard.
  
  Steps to reproduce
  a) Create a simple web project with associated wsdl with an appl
  icable service reference entry.
  b) From the Project open the Deployment Descriptor and go to the
   tab 'references'.
  c) Add an existing webservice with the button 'Add...' and then
  'Service reference'
  5) Note the path for the WSDL file
  6) 'Finish' this wizard
  7) Open now the Source-Tab in the Deployment Descriptor you will
   see now a difference for the path to the wsdl-file eg the entry
   in the web.xml points to a wrong path, the source path is effec
  tively truncated.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Service reference WSDL paths were being incorrectly
  generated when creating a service reference.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in Rational Software Architect V7.5
