    ****************************************************************
    While using the workspacePreferenceSet,
    workspacePreferenceGet, and workspacePreferenceFile J2EE Ant
    tasks the following error may occur after applying the
    WebSphere Application Server Toolkit v6.1.1.7 or Rational
    Application Developer v7.0.0.7 fixpacks:

    The <workspacePreferenceSet> type doesn't support
    the "preferencetype" attribute.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix for APAR PK59486 was to correct the J2EE
    workspacePreference Ant tasks so that they supported all of
    the Eclipse-based preferences and as a result a new attribute
    was added (preferencetype) to specify the preference store
    scope (i.e. default, configuration, etc). This functionality
    should have been introduced so that it did not break existing
    applications and therefore will now only be enabled if the Ant
    project property useEclipsePrefs is defined and set to 'true'.
    For example,

    <project name="RunJ2EEAntScripts" default="buildAll"
    basedir=".">
    <property name="useEclipsePrefs" value="true" />
    ...
    </project>

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    the WebSphere Application Server Toolkit v6.1.1.7 and Rational
    Application Developer v7.0.0.7 fixpacks. Please refer to the
