Error description

  • In Rational Application Developer V7.0.0.5 using Clearcase, some
of the developers have noticed the .compatibility file is being
 hijacked from source control.  This file exists in all J2EE pro
ject types (EAR, EJB, Application Client, Connector, WAR and Uti
lity projects).  The exact cause of the hijack is not known.
When Rational Application Developer needs to modify this file, i
t should prompt for it to be checked out rather than hijacking i
t.
