PK60975: VARIOUS FIXES TO ADDRESS PROBLEMS FOUND DURING INTERNAL TESTING

Error description

• Problem Descriptions:
  1) Multiple HDB Profiling report requests may generate JCL with
      the HDB Container DD name list in incorrect sequence.
   2) No HDB containers are selected and message CPA1044E is
      displayed when "TO" time is not specified in Profiling
      report panels.
   3) "TO" time defaults to start-of-day instead of end-of-day in
      the following functions:
      - Selection Criteria
      - HDB Extract
      - HDB Report
   4) ABEND0CF in OMEGAMON report at CPAOMGMF+6386 when DB option
      is selected without TOTALS option.
   5) Fields TERMCNNM, FCTY, LUNAME and RLUNAME missing from
      Summary FORM and TEMPLATE.
   6) Statistics View Node count not always correct.
   7) Summary report MIN value not always correct.
   8) TRANTYPE Selection Criteria does not select records unless
      an exact match is specified for TRANTYPE of combined values,
      e.g.  transactions of TRANTYPE Mirror transaction and DPL
      mirror transaction require MD in the selection criteria.
      Specifying M or D in the Selection Criteria does not select
      these transactions.
   9) Sample FORMS enhancements.
  

Local fix

• Problem Resolutions:
   1) Selection of multiple overlapping Profile reports using HDB
      now generates the list of HDB containers in the correct
      sequence.
   2) Profiling report HDB "TO" time now defaults to end-of-day
      when not specified, thus allowing the correct list of HDB
      containers to be selected.
   3) Default "TO" time to end-of-day instead of start-of-day when
      "TO" time is not specified in the following functions:
      - Selection Criteria
      - HDB Extract
      - HDB Report
   4) Correct OMEGAMON report ABEND0CF when option DB is selected
      without TOTALS option.
   5) Add CMF fields TERMCNNM, FCTY, LUNAME and RLUNAME to Summary
      FORM and TEMPLATE.
   6) Correct Statistics View Node to display correct node count.
   7) Correct Summary report MIN value.
   8) TRANTYPE Selection Criteria has been modified to allow the
      specification of individual values so the user gets all the
      transactions with specified value regardless of what other
      values are also set.  If the user only wants a specific
      combination, e.g DM, they specify DM, etc.
      Of course the user can also specify a list, e.g. DM,R,O.
      In addition, value U (TRANTYPE User, i.e. not System) is
      also now supported in the TRANTYPE Selection Criteria.
   9) Sample FORMS have enhanced as follows:
      OMRLMLST LIST split into :-
               OMDLMLST LIST    OMEGAMON Database Limit Warnings
               OMRLMLST LIST    OMEGAMON Resource Limit Warnings
      New FORM PGDPLSUM SUMMARY DPL Program Usage by Connection
      FORM CPU3LEXT contained X9CPU TIME twice. The second entry
      has been replaced with X9CPU COUNT.

  10. Intermittent ISPF abend ISPF107 when submitting a
      Report Set with the following symptom:
  
           Control word error
           Invalid control word parameter, CPARSJCS record-72
           File tailoring input line:
           'close paenthesis'DOT &HDBTAB
  11. The Exception List report prints the same date and time of
      the earliest record in all page headers of report.
      This makes it difficult to determine the date of individual
      records when the report spans multiple days.
  12. The Statistics Extract and DB2 Export data lacks sufficient
      information to identify the interval a records belongs to.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes have been made:
  1. Selection of multiple overlapping Profile reports
     using HDB now generates the list of HDB containers
     in the correct sequence.
  2. Profiling report HDB "TO" time now defaults to
     end-of-day when not specified, thus allowing the
     correct list of HDB containers to be selected.
  3. Default "TO" time to end-of-day instead of
     start-of-day when "TO" time is not specified in the
     following functions:
     - Selection Criteria
     - HDB Extract
     - HDB Report

  12. Statistics Extract and DB2 Export data enhanced to include
      additional interval fields VRM, Type, Duration and Number
      to assist in identification of individual intervals.
