  • Using Rational Application Developer V7.0.0.5 and WebSphere Port
al Universal Test Environment V5.1.0.4 cannot deploy with JSR168
 portlet application with portlets with spaces in the portlet-na
me.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The portal server ignores the content after a space in the
object id?s. Since object id?s are generated using the
portlet names, so portlets which have a space and similar
prefix in their names have the same object id?s.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Now the object id's do not contain spaces so there is no
collision.

Fix delivered in Rational Application Developer V7.0.0.6
