PK56684: After defining separate source and output folders the bin folder is always created

APAR status

Error description

• Using Software Architect(RSA) V7.0.0.4, when creating a simple J
  ava Project and defining separate source and output folders the
  wizard still creates an obsolete folder named 'bin' in the proje
  ct directory which must be removed by hand.
  
  This is reproducible the 'bin'folder is always created regardles
  s of the definition of separate folders.
  Actual steps required
  a) In RSA select file -? Create new Java project
  b) In 1st step of the Wizard select 'Use project folder as root
  for source and class files` option -? Next
  c) In 2nd step wizard select 'Create new source folder` option a
  nd input applicable name eg source -? Finish
  d) Back in 2nd step wizard rename Default output folder entry to
   something other then bin eg classes -? Finish
  e) You will now see in the project explorer the new folder creat
  ed within the project artifacts but also the previously overwrit
  ten bin folder

  Application Developer V7.5 release.
