  • Using Rational Application Developer V7.0.0.4

There is a file which content type is Windows-31J (that way it i
s possible to show Japanese DBCS character).
If adding some changing and saving several times and open the co
mpare dialog by right clicking file ? [compare] ? [local history
],
In the file compare dialogue, left part is [workspace file] and
right part is [local history].
All the DBCS character in [local history] is corrupted.

it also happens with CVS and compare the file with previous vers
ion of that file.
