Error description
Using Rational Application developer V7003, in the Web perspecti ve, the JSP editor view is inconsistent with the Quick-Edit view when adding AJAX behavior to JSF components and trying to save the change immediately. Scenario: 1) Create a JSP web page ('myPage') in a JSF Dynamic Web Project . 2) Open myPage using the JSP editor in design view. 3) Drag in a Panel - Group Box (h:panelGroup) 4) Drag in an input component (h:inputText) into the existing pa nelGroup. 5) Select the inputText box by clciking on it in design view. 6) Choose the source tab in the JSP editor. 7) Select the Quick-Edit view tab in the bottom panel. 8) Select the onBlur event. This adds a hx:behaviour element ins ide h:inputText element 9) Select 'Invoke Ajax behaviour on the specified tag' from the 'Action:' combo-box. This adds a behaviorAction attribute to the hx:behaviour element. 10) From this point on, pay special attention to the code inside the hx:behaviour element. 11) Select 'group1' from the 'Target:' combo-box. the targetActi on attribute is added to the hx:behaviour element. 12) Now save the file by either: a) selecting file -- save b) selecting file -- save all c) pressing the Ctrl+S keyboard shortcut Note that the file appears to be saved now (no asterisk near fi le name, or next to 'Quick-Edit' label) 13) Focus on the source editor by clicking somewhere in the sour ce. Expected result: The file is saved with all observed changes intact. Actual result: The targetAction attribute disappears, but all other changes rem ain. Also note that the page editor indicates that the page has unsaved changes via the asterisk next to the file name, even tho ugh we have just saved it.
